Mr. John D.
Veale is Partner & Chief Investment Officer at Stonehage Investment Partners LLP.
He leads investment research and strategy.
He joined the Stonehage Group in 2001 working initially as a Portfolio Manager and Analyst at TriAlpha Investment Advisors Limited, the Group's asset management business.
Prior to that, he spent eight years in the engineering industry working on structural modelling and design before entering the investment industry.
Mr. Veale practised as a Chartered Engineer and obtained a Master of Science in Engineering for research in numerical modelling in 1992 and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (First Class Honours) in 1990 from the University of Cape Town.
