Its physician partners participate in the design and layout of the facility, as well as the selection of equipment and the hiring of key staff. By focusing on the special needs of obese patients in facilities designed to enhance their experience, improved outcomes can be efficiently achieved with greater patient satisfaction and an emphasis on quality health care. Its physician partners are also involved in the design and implementation of patient support services necessary to achieve positive patient outcomes and to sustain targeted post-surgical weight loss. They are led by an experienced management team with a positive track record of starting and building health care services companies. Its founders have already established two highly successful hospital companies working with physician partners, and its senior management staff includes individuals with expertise in the operational aspects of ambulatory surgery centers, and free-standing specialty facilities.
