Mr. Mulherin joined Ziegler in January 2000.
His prior financial services experience includes executive responsibilities at Fidelity Investments and First Chicago and Continental Illinois Bank.
At Fidelity, he was president of National Financial Correspondent Services Company, a major clearing and technology subsidiary.
He was also chief operating officer of Fidelity Investments Institutional Services Company, a $130 billion assets mutual fund distribution group.
At First Chicago and Continental, Mr. Mulherin led a series of trust services and capital markets businesses, including First Chicago's Corporate Trust Group, and Continental's defined contribution and defined benefits services and technology organizations.
Mr. Mulherin is an honors graduate of DePaul University, Chicago (MBA) and Loras College, Dubuque, Iowa, (BA).
He has also lectured on the subject of Service Quality at DePaul, has been an active volunteer for Neighborhood Housing Services, and is a regular participant in various American Bankers Association, Securities Industry Association, and Investment Company Institute forums and sub-committees.
