Profil
A graduate of Oxford University Mr Derry-Evans holds an M.A in Classics and Philosophy.
Following university he completed a number of accounting, corporate finance and product marketing courses at Bank of America.
In 1985 he joined Morgan Grenfell & Co Limited , the leading U.K merchant bank and between 1989 and 2003 worked as a Director in the New York office responsible for arranging senior and mezzanine finance to support corporate M&A activity.
In 1993 he returned to London as a Director in Morgan Grenfell Private Equity, which managed over £1 billion of 3rd party money on a discretionary basis for investment in European buy-out opportunities.
Over the next 10 years Mr Derry-Evans worked on numerous management buy-outs and buy-ins in a wide variety of industrial sectors, including consumer goods, leisure, pharmaceutical packaging and industrial consumables.
In this time he served on the Boards of AB Cerbo, Slip Naxos AB, Winterthur Technologie AG, Coral Eurobet and Deloro Stellite Ltd.
In 2005 he joined Altima Partners LLP to focus on illiquid investment opportunities.
Altima LLP manages $2.4 billion of client funds with an ability to invest in listed and unlisted securities.
Mr Derry-Evans currently serves as Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
