Jonathan Tunnicliffe, Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer of NovaQuest Capital Management, has 35 years of experience in the global health care industry.
He is a Founder of NovaQuest Capital Management and is the chair and member of the investment committees of the General partner of NovaQuest Pharma Opportunities Funds III, IV, V and NovaQuest Animal Health Fund I.
As CIO and Managing Partner of NovaQuest, he is responsible for the investment activities of the firm
From the formation of the NovaQuest business unit at IQVIA (formerly Quintiles) in 2000 through 2010, Mr. Tunnicliffe led the due diligence of all Product Finance and company investments.
Previously, Mr. Tunnicliffe was a founding member and Director of Operations of S-Cubed, a specialized clinical research organization, where he led all operational functions.
In his earlier career, Mr. Tunnicliffe was a medical statistician at SmithKline and French (now GlaxoSmithKline) and at the University of Sheffield.
Mr. Tunnicliffe has a bachelor’s degree in Mathematical Statistics from the University of Liverpool, a Master of Science in Medical Statistics from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, and an MBA from Sheffield Hallam University.
