Dr. Julian A. Thompson is a Head of Emerging Markets Strategies at AXA Investment Managers UK Ltd. He is responsible for segregate mandates as well as carve-outs within Global Balance strategy and has over 22 years' experience.
Prior to joining AXA IM in 2010, Dr. Thompson was previously employed as a Head-Global Emerging Markets by Threadneedle Asset Management Ltd. and a Head of Global Emerging Markets by American Express Asset Management International (UK).
He has a BA in Classics and a PhD in Classical Literature, both from Cambridge University.
