From 1996 to 2003, he was a portfolio manager and research analyst at Fidelity Investments Japan.
As a portfolio manager, he managed various Fidelity Japanese and Asia including Japan equity funds.
He has an MBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Chicago and a BA in Economics and Asian Studies from Cornell University.
