Prior to joining Pzena Investment Management in June, 2001, Ms. Grier was a partner at the law firm of Nutter, McClennen & Fish, LLP where she concentrated her practice in securities and corporate law, representing registered investment advisers, securities and commodities investment pools, hedge funds, mutual funds, and private and public companies.
Previously, Ms. Grier was a member of the business and securities law practice group at the law firm of Lane Altman & Owens, LLP, where she was a partner from 1998 to 2000, and an associate from 1990-1997.
Ms. Grier received her J.D.
degree from Suffolk University Law School in 1990, and earned a B.A. in American Studies from Mount Holyoke College in 1984.
