Mr. Keith J.
Gentile is a Managing Director, Head of Trading & Portfolio Advisory at SVB Wealth LLC.
He is responsible for managing the equity trading desk as well as executing equity and exchange traded fund orders for the investment management team.
His responsibilities include placing orders into algorithmic strategies based on market conditions and specific stock liquidity criteria to ensure quality execution and price improvement.
His technical background and market making expertise helps in the decision making process on a trade by trade basis.
He is a member of the company’s Investment Policy Committee and Best Execution Committees.
Previously, Mr. Gentile was a Vice President and Senior Trader at Bank of New York/Pershing Trading Division on the Floor of the Boston Stock Exchange.
At Pershing he was responsible for making markets in over 80 S&P 500 companies and oversaw and mentored a number of junior traders.
In addition to being a stock exchange member, he was also a member of the Stock Allocation Committee, the Market Performance Committee and was an elected Floor Governor.
In addition, he spent some time working on the sell side of the business as a Research Sales Trader, taking orders from a diverse client base from selling research concentrated in the Semiconductor space.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with a concentration in Mathematics from Salem State University.
