Ms. Chu came to American Capital from Waterview Partners, where she was responsible for the development, evaluation, and execution of venture capital, growth capital, and LBO investments.
Prior to Waterview, she was an associate at JP Morgan Partners, where she focused on growth, mezzanine and buyout investments, including Hallmark Entertainment Network (now publicly traded on NASDAQ as Crown Media Holdings.
Ms. Chu began her career at CIBC Wood Gundy where she analyzed and executed debt and equity financings as well as strategic advisory assignments for private equity firms and corporate clients.
Ms. Chu received a Bachelor of Arts in History and Economics cum laude from Columbia University
