Mr. Kurt G.
Keene is Founding Partner at Vista Private Equity Group.
Prior to co-founding Vista in 2006, he served as a Managing Director for 11 years with RSTW Partners, a Houston-based private equity firm.
Mr. Keene served on the board of directors for a variety of RSTW portfolio companies, and he actively managed the financial, strategic and operational oversight of numerous RSTW portfolio companies.
Prior to joining RSTW at the beginning of 1995, he served as a Senior Manager with Ernst & Young, an international professional services firm, where he provided accounting, consulting and transaction advisory services for nine years to Fortune 500 and middle market companies in a wide variety of industries.
While with Ernst & Young, as well as in connection with certain RSTW investments and other board service, he has worked on numerous public registrations and securities offerings.
Mr. Keene served on the board of directors for a variety of RSTW portfolio companies.
He also served as a past independent director for Riata Energy, Inc. (now known as SandRidge Energy, Inc.), which initiated a public registration process during 2006 and later consummated a privately-negotiated transaction resulting in a change of ownership.
Mr. Keene holds a B.B.A. degree from the University of Texas at Austin and is a former practicing CPA.
