Ohler, CFA MBA, is a Managing Director & Principal at Excalibur Management Corp.
He joined the firm in April 2004 and focuses on all aspects of Excalibur’s strategic wealth management and portfolio management services.
Prior to joining Excalibur, he served as a Senior Associate in the Mergers & Acquisitions advisory group of Fleet Securities, Inc., now part of Bank of America/Merrill Lynch.
Previously, he served as a Securities Liaison for Goldman Sachs & Co. providing operational support to the firm’s Private Client Services division.
He began his career with Korea Exchange Bank as a Funding Officer where he traded a variety of money market instruments to maintain a matched book against the bank’s loan/securities portfolio.
Mr. Ohler career spans commercial and investment banking and portfolio management bringing a unique analytical perspective to managing investment portfolios for high-net-worth families that are often entrepreneurs and business-owners themselves.
Mr. Ohler holds a BA in Economics from DePauw University, an MBA from the FW Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College and is a Chartered Financial Analyst(CFA) charter holder.
