Ms. Marie-Sophie Pastant is a Head of ETF & Index Portfolio Management at BNP Paribas Asset Management Europe SAS. She joined the indexed portfolio management team at BNP Paribas Asset Management as a portfolio manager in April 2007.
In February 2011, she was appointed head of the index & replication team.
She was responsible for coordinating and supervising the activity of the team along with contributing to the development of indexed mandates and a Luxembourg SICAV dedicated to index funds.
She also had direct responsibilities for managing open-ended and dedicated indexed funds (by pure, synthetic or optimised replication) and correlated and leveraged employer-sponsored mutual funds.
In April 2014, she was named deputy head of ETF (exchange-traded funds) & index portfolio management of BNP Paribas Asset Management, increasing her responsibility to the ETF management business.
In November 2017, she took the full responsibility of the team.
She has a MSc of Economic Analysis and Econometrics from the University of Marseille (GREQAM) and graduated from the engineering school Ecole Centrale Marseille in 2007.
