Marzenna Anna Weresa is currently the Director-Global Economy Institute & Professor at Warsaw School of Economics since 2013.
She is also a Member of the European Economic Association since 2003, a Council Member of Warsaw Scientific Consortium since 2007, a Member of the British Association For Slavonic & East European Studies since 2002, and a Member of the Network of Insti & Schools of Public Admin In Central Europe since 2000.
In her former positions, Dr. Weresa served as the Vice Chairman-Management Board of Polskie Towarzystwo Ekonomiczne from 2001 to 2005.
She was also a Vice Chairman-Management Board at Edmar Sp zoo.
Additionally, she was a Member-Supervisory Board at KGHM Polska Miedz SA from 2008 to 2012 and a Member-Supervisory Board at Budimex SA. Dr. Weresa obtained her graduate degree from Warsaw School of Economics in 1988.
She later earned two doctorate degrees from Warsaw School of Economics in 1995 and 2003.
