Mr. Matthew A.
Berg is a Sector Head at Black & White Capital LP.
He is a member of the founding team of black-and-white Capital LP.
He is responsible for all aspects of the research process, including new idea generation, financial modeling, valuation, trade recommendations, and the monitoring of existing positions.
Before black-and-white Capital, Matthew was a Senior Vice President at York Capital where he focused on both TMT and industrials sub-sectors.
Prior to York, he was a Managing Director and Head of Equities at Lonestar Capital in San Francisco, where he directed the firm’s equity investments.
Prior to Lonestar, he spent 10 years investing at York Capital, G Core Capital, and Highbridge Capital in New York.
He specializes in TMT as well as industrials, consumer, and business services.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts from UCLA and a Masters in International Relations in International Business from Columbia University.
