Advanced Pharmacy Concepts is a pharmacy benefit consulting firm in the United States. The APC team of professionals has demonstrated experience in PBM operations, rebate contracting, government programs and clinical services. APC offers a breadth of services that focus on pharmacy issues. Their services include but are not limited to: comprehensive benefit consulting and audit services, rebate administration and mail service pharmacy audits, medical billing (HCPCS) crosswalks for pharmaceutical pricing, coverage determination criteria worker compensation programs, on-site and Class-of-Trade pharmacy purchasing consulting, clinical utilization and formulary support, Medicaid and 340B programs and AMP, AWP and ASP pricing analysis. Established in 1997, APC is privately owned and has no affiliation with, and receives no funding from, the PBM or related industries. They devote their services entirely to drug benefit purchasers, thereby eliminating those conflicts of interest. APC has a staff knowledgeable in pharmacy benefit issues and PBM operational capabilities. The staff includes pharmacists with Doctor of Pharmacy degrees, statisticians, financial analysts, MBAs, and pharmacy technicians. The majority of the APC team has worked previously within the PBM industry, and many employees have previous experience on other sectors of the healthcare system.
