Mr. Michael Barone is Senior Trader at Melvin Securities LLC.
He has several years of trading experience in the securities industry.
Prior to Melvin, Mr. Barone spent several years as an Equity Trader with William Blair & Company.
Starting in 1982 as an assistant trader, he became Partner in 1992, and managed the Nasdaq Trading Desk from 1993 to 1998.
He also served the securities industry as President of the Security Traders Association of Chicago and on the Board of Governors of the National Security Traders Association for two terms.
He was also a member of the NASD’s Market Surveillance Committee for a three year term.
Mr. Barone received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University.
He attended Arizona State University and Northwestern University’s School of Continuing Studies, and holds Series 7, 55 and 63 licenses.
