Prior to joining HSB Group, Ms. Onken was an attorney with Hoberman & Pollack, P.C.
in Hartford, Conn., specializing in commercial and insurance litigation.
She is also a member of the Board of Directors of TEGG Corporation (a franchisor of electrical preventative maintenance programs) and of Hartford’s United Way of the Capital Area.
Ms. Onken’s bar admissions include the State of Connecticut, the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
She is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and of the American Bar Association.
Ms. Onken holds a bachelor’s degree from Smith College, a law degree from the Western New England College School of Law, and an MBA in finance from the University of Connecticut.
