Mr. Freeman has founded three companies in the media and communications field, including The Blackwell Corporation, a Peabody and Emmy award-winning production company.
He was a longtime Director of Comsat Corporation until it was sold to Lockheed Martin and a Director of GRC International until it was sold to ATT, both in 2000.
He serves also as Chairman of the Foundation Management Institute, which advises family foundations on governance and grant-making.
Mr. Freeman received a BA from Yale University in 1962.
