Mr. Nobuyoshi Tsumori is President, Chief Operating Officer & Chief Client Relations Officer at BFC Asset Management Co. Ltd. Mr. Tsumori Nobu has served as COO at BFC since June 2011 and concurrently serves as CCRO.
He joined BFC in August 2006 and worked as CIO for about nine years.
He was most recently with Barclays Global Investors Japan (BGI) where he worked as Equity Active Strategist for eight years and was responsible for equity active management based on quantitative management principles.
In particular, he focused on Japanese equity active management to develop and improve quantitative models and strategies, and achieved great success in the launch of long only and market neutral strategy in the Japanese market.
Prior to joining BGI, he was Chief Quantitative Researcher at Yasuda Trust Bank where he was responsible for the development of Japanese equity strategy, convertible bonds, and derivatives.
Mr. Tsumori earned a M.S.
in Statistics from University of Georgia and a B.S.
in Physics from Sophia University.
