The firm’s growth-oriented strategies target the liquid markets through linear derivatives, options, ETFs, futures and forward contracts, and similar types of relatively vanilla securities. Deuterium generally avoids complex structured products, including credit derivatives, collateralized debt obligations and other exotic types of securities. Portfolios are generally reflective of a global macro strategy and may include various uncorrelated assets, such as hedge funds and long-only products.
