Ms. Patty W.
Thompson, CFA MBA, is an Analyst at Hutchinson Capital Management.
Prior to joining Hutchinson Capital Management in 2006, Ms. Thompson worked for more than twelve years in the institutional investments and finance arena before taking time off to enjoy motherhood.
She was the senior analyst in the Investments and Benefits Finance Group at Pacific Gas & Electric, where her team oversaw the investment of over $12 billion in assets.
She also spent several years working for the investment technology firm, Barra, where she assisted large pension fund clients with portfolio risk analysis, performance attribution, and benchmarking.
Ms. Thompson received her A.B.
degree in Economics and Mathematics from Dartmouth College, and her MBA from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA.
She is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of San Francisco.
Her responsibilities include assisting the Investment Committee in the firm’s research effort and working on various special projects as needed.
She and her husband have one child and reside in San Rafael.
