He began his financial services career in the corporate accounting department of a national real estate development company.
He holds a BS degree in Finance from San Diego State University and In December 1984, he completed the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) course work and examination series.
Following two years of experience, he was awarded the CFP designation by the College for Financial Planning in September 1986.
In addition, he holds a California Life and Disability Insurance sales license.
