Ms. Pearl Wong, is the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of SBBAM.
She has more than 25 years of experience in fund management and is the principal officer responsible for the setting up and daily running of the company.
Pearl joined the Southern Bank Group in 1990 to set up SBBAM.
Prior to that she was General Manager
of Rashid Hussain Asset Management in 1989-1990 and Fund Manager of Bumiputra Merchant Bankers Berhad between 1977-1988.
Throughout her career as fund manager, she handled institutional money consisting of pension funds, unit trust funds, insurance funds, charitable foundations and statutory funds.
Pearl is a graduate in
Economics from the University of Nottingham, England.
