Along with Mr. Maisano's current positions with EACM & The Dreyfus Corporation, he is also head of alternative investments for BNY Mellon Asset Management.
He joined the EACM in 1988.
Until 2004, he also served as CEO of Evaluation Associates (EAI), a leading institutional investment consulting firm that was previously affiliated with EACM.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Maisano was responsible for national sales and product development at the Mutual Life Insurance Company of New York from 1981-1988, and affiliated with Manhattan National Corporation from 1979-1981 and the Equitable Life Assurance Society of the United States from 1969-1979.
During this period, he served as First Lieutenant in the US Army on active duty in 1971 and reserves from 1972 to 1981.
Mr. Maisano holds a BA in Economics from Belmont Abbey College and an MBA in Finance from Iona College.
He was also awarded an honorary doctorate of laws degree by Belmont Abbey College.
