R. Guru Moorthy

Guru founded Napier Healthcare (formerly Karishma Software Ltd.) in 1996 and remained an Executive Director until March 2010.
Established to provide 'excellence in healthcare management’, Napier now manages more than 50,000 beds in 80 healthcare institutions in 7 countries, including China, South Africa, Dubai, Kenya , and Malaysia.
Napier won the IBM Top Star Award for Healthcare in 2008, and the Frost & Sullivan Indian HIS (Hospital Information System) Company of the Year in 2009 and 2010.
Guru is currently a Director of both India Insure Risk Management Services Pvt., a Corporate Insurance Agent that he helped build from 9 members to over 100 employees across 8 branches over 10 years, and MEdRC EduTech, a pioneer in digitally enabled healthcare education.
Guru acts as Advisor to Jupiter Hospital, a 200-bed multispecialty tertiary care centre in West Mumbai, and Pushpagiri Eye Institute, a non-profit organization dedicated to preventing treatable eye disease at an affordable price.
Guru has a BSc and an MBA form Osmania University, Hyderabad.
He is also a seed investor into IIP’s asset management company.
