Mr. Rafael Polatinsky is a Portfolio Manager at Threadneedle Asset Management Ltd. His analytical responsibilities include investments in India, Korea and the EMEA region, and he is a member of the energy and materials global sector teams.
He joined Threadneedle in 2007 first as an Investment Analyst then later became a Fund Manager.
His career started at Arthur Andersen (1999) in South Africa, before joining Deutsche Bank in London where he worked from 2003 to 2004.
Prior to joining Threadneedle, he was an Investment Analyst & Deputy Fund Manager on the Asian emerging markets team at WestLB Mellon Asset Management from 2004 to 2007.
Mr. Polatinsky holds Bachelor of Accounting and Bachelor of Commerce degrees from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg.
He is also a Chartered Accountant (South Africa) and a Chartered Financial Analyst.
