Mr. Rajat Jhunjhunwala has been with the company since 2006 and is responsible for investments in India, Pakistan, and other developing markets like Latin America and Eastern Europe.
He also assists the CEO of the company in strategy and investments.
Mr. Jhunjhunwala has over ten years of work experience.
His career began in the family business of designing and manufacturing equipment components for Philips in India.In 1999, he joined Lazard India as an investment banker.
He spent the last two years of his five-year stint at Lazard focusing on restructuring companies.In 2004, he left the company, and in partnership with the Chairman of Lazard, set up a buyout/restructuring fund in India.
A commerce graduate from St. Xaviers College, Calcutta, India, Mr. Jhunjhunwala has a Masters in Business Administration from Ecole National Des Pont, Paris.
He has also attended the Knowledge Management programme at the University of California at Berkeley.
