Mr. Rajeev De Mello is a Senior Portfolio Manager at GAMA Asset Management SA. He joined GAMA from Singapore in 2021 after having had the role of CIO of Bank of Singapore.
Prior to that, he led the Asia bond team and co-led emerging markets for Schroders.
Previously, he was a senior manager at Western Asset in Singapore and led the Asia bond team and the Europe team for Pictet Asset Management.
Prior to joining the buy side, Rajeev was Head of Asian Bond Trading at UBS Hong Kong, Head of Foreign Bond Trading at UBS and Consultant for McKinsey in Switzerland.
He started his career in 1987 as an options trader in Geneva.
He holds an MBA from Georgetown University and a BA in Economics from the London School of Economics.
