Profil
Mr. Rajesh Paramaguru, CFA, is a Solutions Portfolio Manager & Research Director at Capital Research & Management Co. He is also the chair of the Custom Solutions Committee and serves on the Global Solutions Committee and the Target Date Solutions Committee.
He has over 26 years of broad industry experience, 19 of which are in the investment industry.
He has been with Capital Group for 11 years.
At Capital, he has developed several fund-of-fund solutions and led research on our target date retirement series and retirement income solutions.
Prior to joining Capital, Mr. Paramaguru founded and managed a quantitative hedge fund in New York.
Before that, he managed investment strategies for institutional clients at Barclays Capital.
Prior to that, he held several positions in equities and derivatives research/trading at Lehman Brothers.
Before his time in the investment industry, he spent eight years building computer simulation models used by leading aeronautics and space organizations.
He holds an MBA with honors from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business, a master’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Anna University, India.
He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
