Prior to U.S.
Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth, Mr. Royther was with Harris Trust which he joined in 1990.
He was appointed manager of the Fund in 1995 and has 12 years of investment management experience.
Mr. Royther is also manager of the Money Market Fund.
Mr. Royther is the chief investment officer for Columbia Management’s cash investments platform.
Mr. Royther oversees a broad team of portfolio managers, credit analysts, traders and business operations professionals.
He also has oversight responsibility for Columbia Management’s enhanced (strategic) cash platform and municipal money-market products.
Mr. Royther came to Columbia Management from Harris Investment Management, where he managed a large team of portfolio managers.
He also served as chair of that firm’s Cash Products Strategy Committee.
Over the 17 years he has managed fixed income assets, he has developed strong expertise in several fixed income disciplines, including total-return management and options trading.
Mr. Royther earned a MBA degree in finance and marketing from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Business and a BA degree in economics from the University of Colorado
