Ms. Choi was raised in Arcadia, California.
She is a graduate of Princeton University (B.A.
in Political Economy with a minor in East Asian Studies, Summa Cum Laude, 2000).
After graduation from Princeton, Ms. Choi joined JPMorgan Securities as an analyst in the Financial Sponsors Group.
While there, she worked to provide debt and equity financing, as well as Mergers & Acquisitions advisory, for private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies.
In 2002, Ms. Choi joined Newbridge Capital where she assisted in managing $1.7 billion of funds dedicated to investments in Asia and Australia.
While at Newbridge, she was responsible for financial and business due diligence, transaction structuring and negotiation as well as monitoring select portfolio companies.
