Dr. Richard K.
Lyons is a Trustee at Matthews International Capital Management LLC.
Dr. Lyons rejoined Matthews International in 2010.
Previously, he served as a Trustee from the inception of the Fund family in 1994 through 2006, serving as the Funds’ independent Chairman for eight of those years.
He is currently the Dean of the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley.
Prior to becoming Dean in 2008, he served as the Chief Learning Officer at Goldman Sachs in New York.
Dean Lyons has taught at both the Haas School of Business and Columbia Business School.
Dr. Lyons received his B.S.
in Finance with highest honors from UC Berkeley and his PhD from MIT in Economics.
