Mr. Grubbs, CFA, has over 20 years experience in research, financial modeling, analyst training, and securities analysis.
He is currently President of The Acacia Group, LLC, a consulting firm that provides custom industry research, financial modeling, and financial analysis for industrial and financial services firms.
His prior experience includes serving as Managing Director for the Analsyst Exchange.
He also served as Managing Director of Equity Research at Kaufman, a New York investment bank that specializes in technology banking and research.
Mr. Grubbs developed and managed the telecommunications practice at Calyon Securities and was instrumental in establishing the high-yield bond business for ABN AMRO, where he was Director of High Yield Fixed-Income Research.
Mr. Grubbs spent 18 years with Wachovia Corporation, holding various positions in technology management, fixed-income securities, and corporate finance.
Mr. Grubbs holds a BS degress from Wake Forest University's Calloway School of Business and Accountancy.
He has held the CFA designation since 1993 and has been an instructor for CFA prep courses.
He is also a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts.
