He is also affiliated with the CESifo research network, and I am member of the Standing Committee on Regional Economics of the German Economic Association.
Previously, he worked at the Max Planck Institute of Economics in Jena.
During that time, he spent two semesters as visiting scholar at the Indiana University in Bloomington.
