In May 1996 he was promoted to Vice President.
In 2006 he was named Chief Information Officer and in 2007 was appointed to the Investment and Executive Committees.
On December 31, 2010, he was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of the Board on January 1, 2013.
He received his Associate of Arts degree from Grandview College in 1978 and is a 1981 graduate of Drake University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree majoring in Computer Information Systems with a minor in Accounting.
