Mr. Ryan J.
Dykmans, CFA, is a President & Chief Investment Officer at Dunham & Associates Investment Counsel, Inc. He oversees the firm’s investment, business, and strategic operations.
In his dual role, he leads the Analyst team and Investment Committee while also guiding sales and marketing, operations, client service, human resources, finance, and compliance departments.
As a member of the team since 2004, Mr. Dykmans has served the firm in various roles including serving as Director of Research before becoming Chief Investment Officer in 2022 and President in 2025.
Over his 22-year tenure, he has been instrumental in building Dunham’s investment platform - overseeing the firm’s 15 proprietary mutual funds, leading asset allocation design, sub-adviser oversight, and creating DunhamDC, the firm’s proprietary investment overlay.
He is a graduate of the University of Redlands with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
