Ms. Balaban is a member of the 2M team.
In her earlier career, she served as a social worker, counselor and program coordinator for various organizations.
She moved to Israel in 1984 and lived there for six years, working for Young Judaea and the Jewish Agency for Israel in Jerusalem, and later for the Herzliya Medical Center in Herzliya Pituach.
She also studied for one year at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and is fluent in Hebrew.
Ms. Balaban earned her bachelor’s of social work from the University of Texas at Austin.
