Stephane Franchaud is based in Paris and specialises in large buyouts.
Prior to this, he was responsible for developing 3i’s investments in the South of France, before joining the French Buyouts team.
Before 3i, he worked for three years at Arthur Andersen in both accounting and corporate finance roles.
Mr. Franchaud is the French representative on 3i’s Food & drink sector team.
He has completed investments in Laboratoires Vendôme, a manufacturer of branded cleansing and toiletries products, and MSC, a creator of inspection systems for the glass industry.
Other deals he has been involved in include Sinto, Ineum Consulting (Deloitte Consulting) and Plein Vent (tour operating).
Mr. Franchaud serves on the boards of Laboratoire Vendôme and MSC.
He is a member of the LBO Net, a French association that places executives in the Private Equity market.
He is also a fellow of the HEC Business School.
Mr. Franchaud graduated from HEC Business School with a degree in Finance and accounting.
