Ms. Suzanne Akers, CFA MBA, is an Executive Advisor to the Chief Executive Officer at Alberta Investment Management Corp.
Prior to joining AIMCo in 2022, she served as Co-Head of Franklin Templeton's Investment Risk Management Group, responsible for Equity, Balanced, and Fixed Income strategies globally.
She has extensive experience in a variety of businesses in the asset management industry at both Franklin Templeton and Morgan Stanley.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University, an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business where she was an Arjay Miller scholar, and is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
