Sylvain is a board member of our CIGP’s Swiss entity, as well as a Senior Advisor on the Group level.
Given his long-standing experience in the financial markets, as head of the Legal and Compliance department at Pictet from 1994 to 2007, then and at Lombard Odier from 2007 to 2013, and finally at Banque Syz from 2017 to 2020, where he also acted as board member, Sylvain spends his time advising both CIGP on legal, compliance, AML and regulatory matters.
In addition, in his role of Senior Advisor, Sylvain advises the firm on a strategic level and contributes – thanks to his long-standing experience and network – to its growth and development globally.
Sylvain attended the Law School of the University of Neuchâtel, graduating with a Master’s degree in Law.
He is an Attorney-at-Law, admitted to the Neuchâtel bar.
Sylvain is fluent in French and German and proficient in English.
