Prior to GE Asset Management in June 1999, Mr. Collins was a Director in the tax-exempt area of Fitch Investors Service, Inc. Before joining Fitch he worked at Financial Guaranty Insurance Company (FGIC) for nearly ten years in several capacities, including as an analyst in the General Obligation, Lease, and Higher Education Group.
At FGIC he analyzed, structured, and priced these deals for bond insurance.
Mr. Collins received his BA in Economics from the State University of New York at Albany.
