Prior to joining Microvest Capital Management in 2009, Mr. Parmar was an Investment Analyst with the UNC Endowment's Student-run Fund, developing VaR models to measure portfolio risk.
Prior to this he worked as a Summer Associate with Good Capital, a socially responsible venture capital management firm in San Francisco and then as an Investment Analyst Intern with HIP Investor, a sustainability-focused hedge fund in San Francisco.
He also has experience as a technology consultant to a leading investment bank, building credit risk management systems.
Mr. Parmar earned his MBA, cum laude, Beta Gamma Sigma from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, majoring in Investment Management and Sustainable Enterprise.
Mr. Parmar is fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi and German
