Mr. Walter Pfaff is a Managing Partner & Head of Asset Allocation at LGT Capital Partners AG and a Head of Asset Allocation & Research at LGT Capital Partners AG.
Mr. Pfaff has been with LGT Group since 1993, joining as a Quantitative Analyst.
Before LGT, he worked for the Second Institute for Theoretical Physics at the University of Stuttgart.
Mr. Pfaff joined LGT Asset Management (then known as BIL Asset Management) as a Quantitative Analyst in Frankfurt in 1993.
After three years at West LB, he moved to LGT Capital Management as Senior Analyst in 2000.
Mr. Pfaff’s contribution to all asset allocation and quantitative processes and products at LGT Capital Management is indisputable, and he spearheaded many innovations and forays into new asset classes.
He was part of the small investment professionals who initially developed the Princely Portfolio (GIM).
Mr. Pfaff received an M.Sc.
in Theoretical Physics from the University of Stuttgart.
