Walter W.
Zywottek is our President and our Chief Executive Officer, positions he has held since 2002 and 2001 respectively.
He has also been one of our directors since 1995.
Prior to the Acquisition, Mr. Zywottek had also served as our Chairman, a position he held since July 2000.
Since joining Merck KGaA in 1967, he has served in a variety of positions with Merck KGaA, and its affiliates, including positions as President and Chief Executive Officer of EM Industries, Inc. in Hawthorne, New York, from 1994 to 1998, and as Managing Director of Merck Eurolab in Brussels, Belgium, from 1999 to 2000.
