Weidong Huang, M.D., Ph.D.
is the Medical Director.
He received his M.D.
and M.S.
from the Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences in China and his Ph.D.
from the University of California, San Francisco.
Dr. Huang is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and completed his fellowship training in surgical pathology at the Long Beach Memorial Center, and his residency in combined surgical and clinical pathology from the University of California, Irvine.
Previous to Oncotech, Dr. Huang served as Director of Pathology at IMPATH Predictive Oncology.
He has published studies involving the immunohistochemical analysis of breast cancer in addition to molecular diagnostic techniques and their application in oncology.
Dr. Huang holds a patent in sequence of cDNA coding for a peptide associated with steroid glaucoma.
