Mr. Carlo Moana Birkholz is a Researcher at ZEW-Leibniz-Zentrum für Europäische Wirtschaftsforschung.
Mr. Birkholz works in ZEW’s Research Department “Corporate Taxation and Public Finance”.
His research interests include topics in political economy, public finance, and development economics.
After earning a bachelor’s degree in business informatics as part of a dual studies program at IBM Germany, he studied business administration and economics at the University of Freiburg.
During his studies, he was able to work as an econometrics lecturer in Myanmar in co-operation with the Friedrich Ebert Foundation.
In the summer of 2019, he completed his studies with a master’s degree in economics.
