At the public sector, she acted as Director of the Office for Economic Law at the State Department of Justice (the Brazilian Antitrust Authority) and held positions at the State Department of Industry, Trade and Tourism, the State Department of Finance and Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Economico e Social (BNDES).
She also sat on the board of director's of several companies, including Perdigão, CPFL, Tele Norte Celular Participações and Coteminas.
