Ms. Carrion has over 25 years of global and multicultural marketing experience with expertise in marketing products to the Hispanic community in the United States.
She established her marketing career with Colgate Palmolive Philippines where she began as a management trainee and rose through the ranks with increasing responsibility in managing the company’s core categories – oral care, personal care, surface care and the detergents business.
She then moved to Kraft Foods International as marketing director, with regional responsibility in the Asia Pacific Region.
Thereafter, she joined The Coca-Cola Company as global brand director for Sprite.
In 2001, Goya Foods created a position of marketingdirector and hired her to oversee marketing, new product development, media and public relations.
Working closely with Andy Unanue, then chief operating officer of Goya, she led various marketing campaigns that expanded Goya’s franchise nationally and solidified its market position as the leading Hispanic brand in the United States.
After Goya, she joined Sara Lee Corporation’s coffee and tea division.
When Sara Lee divested this business to Massimo Zanetti, an Italian coffee manufacturer, she joined the management team of Massimo Zanetti and continued her role as head of marketing.
Currently, she is the director of marketing for Professional Disposables International, Inc., a global leader of pre-moistened wipes that serves the consumer, healthcare and commercial markets, where she manages the marketing function its business-to-business division.
Ms. Carrion graduated magna cum laude from De La Salle University in the Philippines, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Marketing Management.
