Jeff Jie-Ping Yao is Managing Partner and a co-founder of Prax Capital and has been president of Prax Capital’s China operations since 2003.
Mr. Yao is involved in deal sourcing, institutional relationships, investment analysis, valuation and negotiation, and post-investment management.
He is an executive with over thirty years of management experience in Asia.
He was the former Director and Executive Vice President of Texpack Group since 1989, where he was responsible for the development of Texpack Group’s operations in China, Indonesia, Taiwan and India.
He also has 16 years of management experience with General Electric & RCA in Taiwan.
He holds a BA degree and an MBA from Central University in Taiwan.
He is fluent in English and Mandarin.
